Step 1

After we have assessed the materials and determined the appropriate cleaning method, our specialist carefully prepares the work area. It is important to us that your home remains immaculate throughout the entire cleaning.

This is how we prepare for the job:

Protection of adjacent surfaces: Even with the greatest care, small splashes are not always avoidable. That is why we cover surrounding furniture, walls and sensitive floor coverings with special, highly absorbent protective cloths.
Preparing the equipment: Our expert prepares the required cleaning solutions and specific stain removers and fills the extraction machine with water.
What we need from you: You only need to indicate which power sockets can be used – we take care of the rest.

Step 2

Applying the cleaning solution: deep action without compromise

In the next step, our specialist selects the appropriate cleaning concentrate, precisely matched to the fibres of your upholstery.

Powerful formula: The active ingredients penetrate deep into the fabric and dissolve even the most stubborn dirt as well as everyday deposits (such as dust, grease and sweat).
Fibre-friendly & safe: Most of our agents are pH-neutral. This means maximum safety for the upholstery, the filling and even for highly sensitive luxury fabrics.
Short dwell time: The solution needs only about ten minutes to separate the dirt from the fibres. The first visible change is already apparent after this short time.

Step 3

Mechanical cleaning: gentle and effective

To optimise the cleaning process and accelerate the release of dirt particles, we use mechanical support from high-quality natural-bristle brushes.

An individual approach for every object:

Private households: For cleaning at your home, we prefer the classic, manual method. Brushes with natural bristles enable particularly gentle treatment that protects the material while still guaranteeing maximum cleanliness.
Commercial spaces (hospitality & hotels): For large areas, such as in cafés, restaurants or cinemas, we use professional electric upholstery brushes. These guarantee an evenly deep-clean result even with heavy use and large square footage.
Your benefit: Regardless of the method, we always ensure minimal mechanical stress on the fabric to preserve the longevity of your furniture.

Step 4

Spray extraction: deep cleaning and complete dirt removal

Once the soiling has been loosened and separated from the fibres, the most important step begins: spray extraction. Here we use state-of-the-art extraction machines to ensure maximum hygiene.

How the process works:

Injection under pressure: A special cleaning solution or clear water is injected deep into the upholstery fabric under high pressure.
Vacuum extraction: At the same time, the liquid together with the dissolved dirt is vacuumed out again by a strong vacuum and directed into the machine's dirty-water tank.
Complete rinsing: This process removes not only the deep-seated dirt but also flushes out all residues of the previously used cleaning agents from the fabric.

Step 5

Targeted stain treatment and detaching

Most everyday soiling can already be effectively dissolved in the first cleaning steps with the main cleaning agent. However, there are stubborn or specific stains that require special treatment (detaching).

These include substances that are not water-soluble and penetrate deep into the textile fibre:

Paints, varnishes and cosmetics: Residues of make-up, lipstick or nail polish.
Medication: Many pharmaceutical substances leave intense discolouration.
Organic stains: Biological soiling such as urine stains, blood, vomit or sweat.

For these cases we use a wide range of special stain removers. Each of these agents is precisely matched to the chemical composition of the respective soiling, in order to effectively break down the stain and remove it without residue, without attacking the upholstery colour.

Step 6

Fibre-friendly rinsing with a special textile conditioner

After the actual deep cleaning is complete, we offer — as an optional but highly recommended step — the treatment of the upholstery with a special textile conditioner.

It is important to know: a professional acidic rinse set for upholstery cleaning differs fundamentally from conventional fabric softeners from the supermarket. They have a completely different chemical composition and purpose.

Why we recommend this step:

pH-value neutralisation: The conditioner restores the natural pH value of the fabric. This is crucial for preserving the colour brilliance of your furniture and preventing darkening.
Fibre protection and softness: The pile becomes noticeably softer and the fibres regain their original elasticity.
Antistatic effect: The static charge of the material is significantly reduced, which makes sitting more pleasant.
Protection against re-soiling: By neutralising cleaning residues, the surface stays clean longer.

This final rinse ensures a perfect finish and a healthy living climate in your home.

Step 7

The visual finish: raising the pile

Certain cover fabrics with a micro-pile – such as velour, microsuede or Alcantara (faux suede) – require professional after-treatment following the wet deep cleaning.

With a special, soft upholstery brush, the pile is carefully «combed» in one direction. This ensures that the fibres dry evenly and that no unsightly shadows or patterns form.

The benefits of this treatment:

Reviving the look: Through the cleaning and subsequent raising, flattened or dirt-matted nap is «revived» again.
Fluffy feel: Your sofa regains its characteristic soft touch.

Step 8

Professional blower drying of the upholstery

Although synthetic fabrics often dry easily in the air, active drying is the decisive factor for a perfect result with many materials.

Especially with natural fibres, sensitive fabrics or mattresses (due to the high cotton content), accelerated drying is essential. We offer you the option of partial or complete drying of your furniture directly on site.

Why machine drying is advantageous:

Avoiding odours: Fast drying prevents moisture from remaining inside for too long, which — especially with mattresses — rules out the formation of mildew stains or musty odours.
Ideal for business customers: This service is particularly relevant for offices, hotels and hospitality. Rooms and seating are ready for use again almost immediately.
Material-friendly technology: We use special air blowers (drying units) that work with a constant air flow. Unlike heat, this method is absolutely safe for all types of fabric.
