We clean and care for leather sofas, leather couches, leather armchairs, leather chairs and other leather furniture directly at your home. Depending on the leather type and condition, we treat skin oils, stains and signs of wear with a material-appropriate method — without wet extraction. Send us a photo of your leather furniture: we assess the leather type and condition and provide a non-binding estimate in advance.
Quick answer
There's no flat rate for leather cleaning. Leather type, condition and scope of care are too different for a fixed price list. After a photo of your leather furniture you'll receive a non-binding, individual estimate — before the appointment, with no surprises.
A leather sofa is exposed daily to skin oils, dust, clothing, sometimes pets and changing soiling. Over time this leads to shiny patches, changes in sheen, stains or a surface that feels drier.
For professional leather sofa cleaning, we first assess the leather type and the condition of the surface. We then choose the right cleaning and care — depending on the leather, soiling is dissolved and the surface refreshed. Especially with high-quality leather sofas, it's important not to use unsuitable household cleaners or too much moisture — the same applies to leather couches, armchairs and chairs.

We determine the leather type, check the condition and provide a non-binding estimate, usually within 1–2 hours.
Material-appropriate cleaning on site, with targeted treatment of individual stains.
Depending on the leather type, suitable aftercare is applied. We then check the result together with you.
We can't seriously quote a general price per square metre or per piece for leather. The effort depends on the leather type, size, soiling, condition and desired scope of care (cleaning only, or additional suitable leather care/aftercare). After a photo, you'll receive a non-binding estimate before the appointment is booked.

Not all leather is the same — the right treatment depends on the specific leather type and its surface. We determine the exact type on site; the overview below is for orientation, not a fixed cleaning protocol.
Aniline leather
Dyed all the way through, natural leather without a protective coating. The surface is particularly sensitive to moisture, stains and friction. Cleaning and care must therefore be especially gentle and tailored to the specific leather.
Semi-aniline leather
Aniline leather with a very thin pigment layer on the surface — the grain and pores remain clearly visible. More robust than pure aniline leather, but still more sensitive than pigmented smooth leather; the right treatment depends on the specific finish.
Pigmented leather (smooth leather with a coating)
After tanning and dyeing, a covering colour/pigment layer is applied that hides small flaws in the leather surface. This coating generally makes the surface more resistant to everyday soiling than open-pored leather types. The suitable cleaning method still depends on the specific finish and condition.
Nubuck leather
Leather buffed on the grain side to a velvety surface. Sensitive to stains and moisture; the right treatment depends heavily on the individual case.
Suede (split leather)
The rough flesh side faces outward. Similarly sensitive to nubuck — here too, the method depends on condition and material.
Faux leather (PU/PVC)
Not genuine leather, but a plastic coating on a textile base. Less sensitive than real leather; mild cleaning agent and refresh, without wet extraction; UV light makes the coating brittle over time.
Leather cleaning removes dirt, skin oils and stains from the surface. Leather care covers a suitable treatment or aftercare depending on the leather type and condition. It can help keep the surface supple and protect the leather from drying out. Whether additional care makes sense after cleaning depends on the leather type and condition — that's why we tailor the aftercare individually to each leather.
Not every stain can be completely removed. The result depends, among other things, on the leather type, the age of the stain, how deep it has penetrated, and the condition of the surface.

At the transition between the leather panel and the printed upholstery fabric, dirt had built up along the seam. No filter, no retouching — just a material-appropriate cleaning.

Many people reach for household cleaners, wet wipes or all-purpose leather care from the supermarket at the first stain. The risk: an unsuitable product or too much moisture can change the surface, fix the stain instead of removing it, or affect the colour — and that can't always be undone afterwards. That's why every professional treatment starts with the question of which leather it actually is: aniline, semi-aniline, pigmented or faux leather all need different products and methods. If you're unsure, send us a photo first instead of experimenting yourself.
A cleaning can refresh soiled leather and reduce existing soiling. However, it does not replace professional leather repair or restoration. With already cracked leather, significant colour loss, damaged coatings or deeply set discolouration, cleaning alone cannot fully resolve the issue. In such cases, we assess beforehand what can realistically be improved.
We offer professional leather cleaning and leather care on site across German-speaking Switzerland. Depending on the job, we're regularly in Lucerne, Zürich, Zug, Aargau, Bern and other regions.
There's no flat rate: leather type, condition, size and scope of care strongly affect the cost. After a photo assessment we provide a non-binding estimate.
As a rough guide, every 6–12 months, depending on use and leather type — aniline leather can need more frequent care than pigmented leather, depending on use and condition.
Small, early cracks can often be slowed down or visually softened with regular, suitable care. Already torn leather needs a leather repair, not a cleaning — we say so honestly before the appointment.
Leather is cleaned using different methods than textile upholstery. Classic wet extraction, as used for many fabric covers, is not suitable for most leather surfaces.
Alcohol, soapy water and aggressive all-purpose cleaners can damage the surface or fix stains instead of removing them.
Yes, with a mild cleaning agent and refresh, also without wet extraction.
Yes, e.g. leather office chairs, reception furniture or waiting areas in practices.
Ballpoint pen stains can be treated depending on the leather type, surface and age of the stain. Complete removal isn't always possible. On sensitive leather, don't experiment yourself with alcohol or aggressive cleaners — it's best to send a photo first.
Yes. Shiny, worn patches often result from skin oils, body contact and everyday use. Whether and how much the surface can be refreshed depends on the leather type, the coating and the condition.
Customer reviews
Had a couple of dining chairs cleaned. Quick job but done properly. Polite and on time, no fuss. Would recommend.
We run a small restaurant and the chairs take a real beating every day. Had the whole set done and they actually look presentable again. We'll be booking the gastro chair cleaning on a regular basis from now on.
Top.
